At Roots Shoots Leaves Ltd we provide tree surgery that aims to always keep arboricultural principles in mind to ensure the interests of the long-term life and health of the tree is preserved primarily. We meet the client�s requirements with the following structurally beneficial pruning techniques.

Formative Pruning � is the process of shaping a tree when it is young into the desired form. Small young trees are pruned to encourage the development of the ideal shape and growth of the species.
Corrective Pruning � thinning, removing codominant stems and cutting back to rejuvenate or increase good tree structure. Semi-Mature trees are cut back or shaped to increase longevity in their given situation.
Restorative Pruning � the existing form of the crown is managed or modified. Older trees are managed carefully to prolong their life in a way that won�t stress these vulnerable structures.
